About the event
The holiday season is often filled with family gatherings, traditions, and memories. But when we've lost someone we love, those same moments can bring sadness, loneliness, and a reminder of who's missing.
Hickory Grove Community Church and Grace in the Stillness invite you to spend an afternoon with others who understand how difficult this season can be. We'll talk about the emotions that come with grieving during the holidays, why certain moments can be especially hard, and practical ways to prepare for them.
We'll also take time to remember our loved ones through a special Christmas ornament activity, share encouragement, and explore how faith can bring comfort during difficult times.
Whether your loss happened recently or many years ago, you are welcome. You don't have to be a member of our church or be at a particular place in your faith journey to attend. Sharing is always optional.
